With over 30 years of experience focusing on long-term pension investments, McMorgan & Company is a natural leader in its field, but few people in the investment industry knew of them. They also had the added hurdle of scattered communication pieces that attempted to communicate too much and said too little. Our work was cut out for us. Eis Design started from the beginning by defining the McMorgan brand into one clear message. We developed a brand identity system for McMorgan & Company that spoke to its organization’s strengths: experienced, focused, disciplined. In essence, stability, the antithesis of trendy. Once the brand identity was developed, Eis Design then began to create a creative platform that was used for all of its marketing communications. We also made recommendations for specific types of media that would be most effective in reaching its audience. From educational programs to print advertising to web to collateral, each type of communication vehicle was developed for maximum reach. The new McMorgan brand not only gave them a unified and consistent voice that existing customers could speak to, but it also gave the company a brand presence that would be effective in engaging new prospects over time. With the recent market correction, McMorgan & Company’s strong new brand is well positioned for the current investment climate and for the future. |
